I exercise almost daily, but my size hasn’t budged as much as I would think in 4 months. I haven’t changed my eating habits that much: Example:

Breakfast:lean cuisine, OJ
Lunch:TV Dinner or Wrap from the deli, diet pop or water
Dinner: Pizza, a noodle dish, sometimes grilled chicken
Snack: Butter popcorn , edamame, popsicles.

I know it’s not great, so I’m going to try a more natural diet like:
Fruits, veggies, lean meats, nuts, lots of water, beans, etc…. and try to avoid all the processed foods like bread, candy, chips, sugar etc….

Will I see more results with this diet and exersize more than I do now? If so, how long till I see results? I know it s a strict diet, but i have displine and i can do it. I just wanted some opinions first.

    To drop weight, you want to cut out calories and fat and increase exercise. Your example diet sounds very reasonable, but instead of the butter popcorn – make plain popcorn, and try to steer clear of large amounts of pizza. (One or two slices of a thin crust, lightly topped pizza is great!)

    The normal amount of weight to drop per week is 1-2 pounds, and you can do this just by cutting out 200 calories every day from your normal diet. Losing more than this per week is just water weight.

    if u wanna lose weight quick u gotta do Aerobic/Cardio work outs like running, swimming, biking…. drink only water. dont eat things with high fructose corn syrup cuz that easily turns to fat, check the ingredients. should c improvement in weeks to a month

    Yeah, definitely stay away from diet soda. It’s actually even worse for you than regular soda. The diet you have planned is the key to success. Eat healthy, exercise, and it will pay off. You will see fast results with your weight. Don’t push yourself too hard. Go into it slow, because many people have burnouts after going a few months into diets. I promise that you will eventually learn to love your new lifestyle. Good luck!

    Adding more fruits and veggies, and getting rid of sugar will be your best bet.

    Also, you need to exercise at least 30 minutes everyday to be successful at weight loss.

    drop all processed food and dairy and you will see better results

    stop eating meat and any processed food, no sugar or any junk food, nothing processed like bread, cerial, or anything like that.

    eat vegitables blended with fruit juice in a blender.

    eat a couple of plain regular sized yogurts a day

    get a lot of walking in

    you will not only lose weight, you will gain heath, but don’t do it for more than a week strait. you will probably lose close to 10 or even more depending on what your diet has been.

    you will get flu like symptoms, which is actually good because toxins will flood from your body.

    add brown rice and some whole good foods, add soy products, take some good vitamins (I like spectro by solor ray) if you want to sustain it, not only for weight loss but for excellent health. doing this for a month purges your body of a lot of garbage and toxins and you should begin feeling fantastic, and your immune system will be very strong.

    vary this diet to fit your needs, but stay away from the bad stuff and you will be suprized how things go for you.

    if you are type o blood staying off meat may be a bad idea

    Someone sayes that its important to eat regulary.
    Every 3-4 oher. SMAL meals
    Fruits and a litle bread. Fish ore just a litle bit of meat ( 100 gr.)
    Because this will inkrease the methabolism.

    Here is what you need to do.

    Your breakfast should be your largest meal, then you need a medium lunch and the supper or dinner must be 2 hours minimum before bed time, and must be very light.

    It seems you have reached a plateau so drink a gallon of water max 1 1/2 per day and always drink some before eating any thing to fill you up first.

    You must count calories and at least in initial stages write down what you are going to eat and when then stay on that list. Your total calories for the week must not exceed, 1500 x 7 = 10,500 calories this will give you leave way to indulge at special occasions like wedding and parties, but you must write down what you eat and account for the calories latter and adjust the total intake next week.

    Please read my article on this subject and follow them.
    While at it build your body too, while reducing by doing body parts specific exercises.

    If you are not too old, then best way to reduce your weight is to increase your height.

    Vegetarians have a big advantage, in loosing weight, it cost less and they can satisfy the hunger more easily, some vegetables have only 1 calorie per pound, so they can fill themselves up with it before enjoying each meal, and never go hungry.

    Most people should take one a day water soluble multi-vitamins when on this program; they can be purchased at the pharmacy near you.

    Who is over weight?

    This is simple, it is easy to find out and it is available on line, it is call Body Mass Index, and calculations are simple. According to this calculation if you find your self say only 10 pounds more, you may not be over weight. Remember every one is slightly different and you can just watch it, on your own and not let it get out of hand.

    What is the reason for being over weight?

    This is also simple, have doctor check you out for any physical or hormonal abnormalities. The doctor should be advising you of your ideal weight even though you have already figured out the ideal weight and you are seen a doctor because your weight is not where it should be according to BMI.

    Basic understanding of loosing weight.

    Every one uses calories at all time. There may be some exceptions to this rule, for most of us; the rate of use, even when we are resting, we use 65 calories per hour minimum. This comes to1560 calories per day. The actual range is between 65 and 100 calories per hour. This is consistent with heart rate of 60 to 80 bits per minute.

    Simply put any person eating only say 1500 calories a day will not put on any additional weight. At this level of calories consumption the person should loose some weight over long haul, depending on the individual rate of metabolism.

    Complex Carbohydrates: 40 percent of 1500 calories per day = 450 calories.
    Proteins: 50 percent of 1500 calories per day = 750 calories.

    3.Need to reduce weight only.

    Fat: 25 percent of 1500 calorie per day = 375 calories.
    Complex Carbohydrates: 25 percent of 1500 calories per day = 375 calories.
    Proteins: 50 percent of 1500 calories per day = 750 calories.

    4.Need to increase muscles bulk, but still reduce weight.

    Fat: 10 percent of 1500 calorie per day = 150 calories.
    Complex Carbohydrates: 15 percent of 1500 calories per day = 225 calories.
    Proteins: 75 percent of 1500 calories per day = 1125 calories.
    Exercise the muscles you want to develop, you can find right exercise on line, recommend use of light weights.

    Foot note: To take fat is so important, while reducing even fat, that it is included in all cases. If the fat is completely cut out, body will think of producing the fat, and will produce the fat by reducing metabolism, without fat in take, you may actually again weight even at lower than 1500 calorie level. You will feel run down and lethargic.

    All that has changed, present thinking is 5 to 6 times per day. Any way what practice one follows is up to them; to each his own.

    Another best practice will be a glass of water before bed time, nothing to eat for two hours before bed time.

    How do I know the calorie count for various drinks and food?

    If you are buying packaged items it is on the package.

    Go on the internet and find the calorie information.

    Lots of cook book now a days list calorie per serving.
    Use your best guess, in this method use higher figure then you have guessed.

    Cycling is good exercise and fun too.

    You need to adjust the seat so that when you paddle from seating position you will actually stretch your legs, it is a difficult position but doable. For safety you need to be on track and not in traffic, safety first.

    The FEW things I did at least helped me.

    Not just playing in water, but serious laps type swimming, do not try to beat the clock but steady full strokes swimming. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

    lean foods aren’t healthy. the foods have to be even more processed to get the fat out. you should start a garden in your own yard and stay away from meats. you can eat a little but not too much. you should eat lots of foods with gooey fibers such as oatmeal. they will combine with the fat that way when you exercise it will come right off. you also have to sweat a lot when you exercise to get the fat off. my uncle told me and my sister to get up early in the morning tie a trash bag around our waste and run around a track so we’ll sweat. i know it sounds crazy but it works. i haven’t done it because i weigh 83.2 lbs. at age 12 getting ready to turn thirteen. i’ve seen some improvement in my sister though. she was 138lbs and she went down to 128lbs in two weeks. again stay away from the meats. they pump steiroids into the meats which makes the fat harder to come off. also develope a dieting plan. if you stick to that plan then on saturday u can reward yourself with some ice cream of meat or something. pizza is healthy by the way look at all the healthy things in it. for a snack try an apple it is good. i prefer green but color doesn’t matter. try it this plan shoud work but if it doesn’t go to the doctor and ask him/her. join a work out team or go to a gym. try to build some muscle you’ll get stronger and leaner you still need to eat do not go anarexic or balemic
